Canadian Karen 9 Posted January 26, 2005 Report This Post (To report rule violations to admin) Share Posted January 26, 2005 I went back to the GI specialist at St. Mike's today. I discussed with him the controversy as to whether budesonide is gluten-free or not. He seemed to be certain that it was gluten-free. I guess I will trust him - I will find out soon enough whether it contains gluten as I will have a rather quick reaction if it does - starting with the burning of my lips and throat ( the start of much worse symptoms, of course....) I am going to fill out the prescription tomorrow and start taking it. We shall see if there is any improvement..... Have a wonderful day, everyone!!! Karen Karen positive bloodwork, positive biopsy Celiac, collagenous colitis, hypothyroidism endometriosis (at age 20) spinal stenosis (early 20's) Biopsy August 2006 confirmed complete villous atrophy despite being gluten-free for years and bloodwork within range showing compliance with diet.
