Walgreen's Brand Milk Of Magnesia

Recommended Posts

I have been having a few episodes lately of stomach cramps, muscle pain, lightheadedness, nauseau, very anxious, etc. I am always careful to not intentionally ingest gluten. I have been frustrated trying to figure what may be causing this. I have taken Walgreen's Brand Milk of Magnesia a couple of times recently and I do seem to have problems that occur after taking it. I looked on Walgreen's gluten free list and it only lists the Walgreen's Milk of Magnesia caplets.......I have been taking the liquid. Does anyone have any information if the liquid is gluten free?

I don't know about this product specifically, but the fact that it's not on the gluten-free list should tell you something. It's not unusual for the caplet or pill form of a med to be gluten-free, and the liquid or chewable form contains gluten--it's most likely in the flavorings in that case.

I'd call the number on the bottle before taking any more of this--I have a feeling it's what's been making you sick :)
