Interpreting Blood Tests?

Recommended Posts

Can anyone help interpet my daughter's blood work? It was done at Kaiser. The doctor basically said only one test was higher than normal, but I just wondered if the others were close or not:

Gliadin IgG - 33 (H)

Gliadin IgA - 4

Endomysium IgA, serum - <3

Endomysium AB, serum, qual - Negative

IgA - 270

She's currently on a gluten free diet and doing really great ever since. Still waiting for EnteroLab tests to come back.

How high is a score of 33? The test results were mailed to me, but no "range" was attached. :( Thanks!

Without the ranges....we really cannot say. You could find out what lab they used and call the lab and ask for the ranges if your Dr. office doesnt have them.

GLUTEN FREE 4/4/08. LEGUME/SOY FREE 5/15/08. YEAST FREE. CORN FREE. GRAIN FREE. DAIRY FREE. I am eating all meats, eggs, veggies, fruits, squash, nuts and seeds. I just keep getting better every day. :)
