Warwick, Ri

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

from April 8th to 10th my travel team and I are on a tournament in Warwick, RI. 2 people of my team are a celiac. Another woman, which I helped to get diagnosed, and myself. Which is pretty amazing anyway, two celiacs in one team  . We should ask, if we could start in the handicapped class. No, just kidding :D . Oh, well...

But we were wondering, if there is a (or maybe more) gluten-free possibility to eat. Doesn't have to be a completely gluten-free restaurant, but little things on a menu help, too. I already figured out several Outback Steakhouses, but they aren't even cheap. So I thought, you guys might now something else, besides McDonalds fries. Oh, by the way, does anybody know, if the ketchup in McDonalds is gluten-free? Cause fries without ketchup isn't my favorite.

And do you guys know about any supermarkets or wholefoods, where we could buy some gluten-free crackers or something in case we have an eating emergency? I mean, we take gluten-free food with us, but you never know...

I'm excited, about how we manage that. This is practically a "rehearsal" for Toronto for me. We try to get a cheap hotel with a self-cooker kitchen and bring our own toaster and stuff. I think we will have a blast  .

Thanks for your help in advance. Hugs, Stef
