Doctors In Boston/cambridge

Recommended Posts

I need a gastro who specializes in IBS and Celiac disease in the Boston/Cambridge area. Someone who is nice and actually listens would be great! :) Any recommendations?!

My husband went to go see Dr. Ayalla at Cambridge Hospital after he had a mildly abnormal celiac panel. (He was only tested because my son has celiac). Dr. Ayalla was really thorough. but it took a really long time to get the initial appointment, and a long time to get the results of the biopsy.

But he was a good doctor and is not a celiac specialist per se, but as a GI was certainly very knowledgeable and approachable.

I just found a wonderful doctor in Boston. He is located at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He is wonderful and completely knowledgable with Celiac Disease and he take the time to listen. His name is Dr. Daniel Leffler. I hope this helps it took me ten years for find one. ;)
