grrr, no i haven't heard anything yet and i'm starting to lose confidence. :( I was told after the interview last Tuesday that they would call me on Friday but if i hadn't heard from them to definitely call on Monday. Of course, they didn't call on Friday so I called the HR lady on Monday afternoon and had to leave a message. I still haven't heard back and i'm growing impatient. i guess i'll call again tomorrow.

at this point, i just want to know either way! i'm holding off on starting temp work in case i get an offer. i'll keep you all posted once i hear more! *fingers crossed*

oh, thanks Judy!!

i called again on Wednesday and got to actually speak with the HR rep, as opposed to leaving another message. she said they have all been working like crazy to tie up loose ends because they will be closed for 2 days (yesterday and today) on account of a company-wide retreat, plus a board meeting and 20th anniversary party...all packed into a few days. the good news is she said they all enjoyed meeting with me and they would have contacted me by now if they were not interested in pursuing employment with me. so...i took that as good news and decided to try and enjoy my time off.

i'm now hoping they'll be calling early next week with an offer. *fingers still crossed*

hi Judy! no offer yet but i'm still in the running.

i talked to HR on Friday and i was the only one they interviewed that they're interested in speaking with any further. the whole process is taking so long because everyone who is hired automatically becomes a shareholder in the company so they have to be very particular who they hire because it's not easy to get rid of someone if they don't work out. it sounds like they're waiting on upper management to approve the hire or something like that.

so i'm still waiting! i don't want to keep calling and come off as desperate, ya know??
