Numbness And Tingling In Legs, Fingers, Tongue

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone. I went gluten free for several months and then tried adding gluten to test myself. I didn't really have any GI symptoms, so I continued eating gluten. I have developed numbness and tingling in my legs, fingers, tongue and lip. It didn't hit me til just now that maybe that is from the gluten. I remember reading that after going gluten free, when you go back on it, the symptoms are worse.

Is this possibly from gluten? I went to ER and my c-scan was normal.

Thanks for any help!!

Hi Melodi,

Yes, I get both neurological and gastric symptoms from gluten exposure: "pins and needles" in my hands and feet, hand tremors, severe migraines, vertigo, etc.

Your symptoms could definitely be gluten related!
