Bread Machine Vs Kitchenaid Mixer

If I was going to invest in a Bread Maching or KitchenAid Mixer for most of my gluten free baking (mostly bread) which one of the 2 do you think I would get more use out of in general??

Can only afford 1 :)

If you are only going to get one, I would have to say the Kitchen Aid. It mixes bread dough just fine and you can use it for so many other things.

I love mine :D

I've got both and if I had to give one up, I would give up the bread machine. I don't make bread as often as I thought I would . . . and I use the kitchenaid mixer for LOTS of things.

I would get the Kitchen Aid. I use mine all the time....I think it's the one appliance that makes baking so much easier. Baking bread in the oven isn't too bad, I have my prep time down to 15 minutes.

I vote for the Kichen Aid Mixer as well. I had a super expensive bread maker and it lasted for about six months before the pan got stuck in the groove and I had to use spatulas to get the bread out and pry the pan out after it cooled. I looked it up and that's a common thing to happen. It also has begun to show rust already in the pan and it makes funny noises. I've always taken good care of it.

The Kitchen Aid is easy to use and easy to clean. And, it's fun to make other things in it. The trick for me with bread mixes is to mix it for a long time (about 20 minutes) and it rises and bakes great!

      Celiac Emotional Healing Support Group
       
       
       
      Again you are invited to join Johnny Patout, LCSW for Baton Rouge's first emotional healing support group meeting to assist those living with celiac disease manage the emotional challenges so many of us face. Most often the emotional disturbances include depression, disinterest in normal activities, insomnia, grief, mood changes, anxiety, inability to concentrate, extreme concern about managing a gluten-free lifestyle and other emotional and behavioral challenges.
       
      The professionals at Jamestown Avenue Counseling Center created the emotional healing support group to give us a safe place to begin to process our emotions and support each other as we heal emotionally while managing celiac disease and the resulting autoimmune disorders.
       
      The emotional healing support group meets every Thursday, 6:00-7:00pm, at the Jamestown Avenue Counseling Center of Baton Rouge. Jamestown Avenue Counseling Center is located at 4637 Jamestown Avenue, Baton Rouge, Suite B-1. Suite B-1 is upstairs.

    So i recently had a baby and 3 months postpartum I started celery juicing and after juicing my stomach would be in so much pain. So I stopped it for a while and a whole month no pain or issues. I made an apt with a GI doctor to just get my blood work checked everything came back great except the Ema it was 1:20 he said it was strange because all the other Celiac panel test were negative my Ttg and the genetic screening even. So I made an apt with another doctor for second opinion she stated
    I am celiac and eat gluten-free, DF, SF and sunflower free because I'm highly reactive to all 4. I discovered about a year and a half ago that I would have severe and immediate GI reactions, similar to as if I ate dairy, to anything with sunflower/safflower products in it, but I think that's when using the oil became more prevalent too.
