Halflytely W/ Flavor Packs

Recommended Posts

Going for my 2nd EGD/colonoscopy this week; this time doctor prescribed HalfLytely. The ingredients for the solution seem to be ok, but I was wondering about the bisacodyl tablets and flavor packs. The flavor pack ingredients list the obscure "natural flavors".

I found a old list online from 2007 that indicated HalfLytely as being gluten free. My thought is that it would be ok since my GI's office gave it to me, but you know how that goes. <_<

The GI doctor most times is not going to have any idea whether this is gluten free or not. I would ask the pharmacist to check or call the phone number that should be on the sheet that came with it.

Thanks for your input. I called the manufacturer today and the lady on the phone said that it's "completely gluten free". Guess I'll have to go with that. :)
