Hi Everyone,

I am going to see a Celtics game at the TD Garden with a friend at the end of this month and was hoping to possibly have dinner beforehand. Does anyone know of any restaurant within walking distance that either has a gluten free menu or can accommodate without much risk of contamination?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Check this out: Open Original Shared Link

It's in the North End and within easy walking distance to the "Gahdin". (Boston-speak!) I have yet to get there myself but it's high on my list of things to do. They are only open for dinner and yes, not really inexpensive but what the hell? Your going out for the evening and need to eat so treat yourself!

According to their website, they are 252 steps from the Gahdin! Enjoy!

Thanks so much for the info! I checked and they are not open on Sundays, which is the day that I am going to the game, but I will definitely check it out some other time. Thanks again, that's awesome. I am a big fan of Legal Seafoods' gluten-free menu, which is also expensive, but hey, you gotta treat yourself once in a while. :-)

if you live in or around Boston, you know Legal seafood and legal test kitchen are both very gluten free friendly? And AMAZING. THEY ARE MY favorite places ever :) Good luck

Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep searching for a cause?

I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?
    • mishyj
Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.
