A thank you post on a thread is a wonderful thing. It lets the responder know that you saw their answer to you, and also lets people know that you appreciated their time and effort. I think it is proper and mannerly to say thank you!

I agree, but had, at times, wondered the same thing. Thank you! :D

Do you have officially diagnosed celiac disease? Or are you not a celiac but gluten sensitive?
    • Gluten Free Jeff
In general I guess. I wasn't gluten free until I graduated highschool.

Welcome to the forum, @Gluten Free Jeff! Are you asking this for yourself or for someone else say, as their parent?

Has anyone going through public school gluten-free can you tell me about your experience How you felt?

How long ago were you diagnosed?  Many people with celiac disease, especially those who are in the 0-2 year range of their recovery, have additional food intolerance issues which could be temporary. To figure this out you may need to keep a food diary and do an elimination diet over a few months. Some common food intolerance issues are dairy/casein, eggs, corn, oats, and soy. The good news is that after your gut heals (for most people who are 100% gluten-free this will take several months to two years) you may be able to slowly add some these items back into your diet after the damaged villi heal. I had a half dozen or more temporary intolerances until my gut finally healed, and after than I was able to add back most foods (except gluten of course).
