Symptom Changes?

Recommended Posts

Well, its been about one year since going gluten-free and it has made me feel better; sometimes I even have totally normal days. But for about a week I've been getting more constipated (my normal glutening feeling) and yet not without some differences. For instance, I don't get the pain and immediate onset of constipation as I normally did when I got CC.

Perhaps I have refractory celiac, since I've never gotten permanently better plus the food that i didn't react to now does cause a reaction. Yet,my gluten sensitivity never became obvious to me until about 3 yrs ago -is that enough time to damage your bowels so thoroughly?

Perhaps it's not gluten but rather a lack of fiber or some other food intolerance? I started a food journal today.

I'm just confused and asking for help from others who have experienced similar things.

I have no suggestions, just a ton of sympathy! I am 9 months gluten-free and my c is worse than ever. I eat lots of fiber, drink water till I am floating away, take supplements and...... just C! Two Ducalax is all that keeps things amovin'. I hope you find something that helps. Not sure which is worse - C or D !!
