Dealing With Type 2 Diabetes And Celiac

Silly me going out and getting another food allergy. Now i'm having to combine the celiac disease and diabetes type 2. Anyone have any advice?

After I typed a nice long response I accidentally deleted. Maybe that is a message in itself. Anyway, I am sorry to hear that you have this also. I don't really have any experience with this, but I can share what I read. The flours we gluten-free folks use as replacements for the evil wheat flour, tend to be higher in carbs. That is defintiely a concern for you. Have you read anything about paleo or primal diets. These eliminate all grains, therefore greatly reducing the carb grams. In this way of eating all of your carbs come from fruit and veggies. You might find a lot of helpful advice at marksdailyapple.com. There are lots of very helpful folks there.
