Cc From Outdoor Bbq?

Is it possible that CC could occur from an outdoor BBQ that hasn't been used in months?

I have no actual experience with this but I did read somewhere that it can happen. Your grill can become contaminated if you toast bread on it (hamburger buns?) or if previous meat had a marinade that contained gluten.

Sure. We got a new grate to cook on - kept the grill. We have a standard grill so you can get the replacement parts at any hardware store & maybe Walmart. Put down foil if you can't change it. Seems like no matter how hard you scrape & wash them, they never get clean.

I would think you could use oven cleaner (like Easy-Off) on the grates.

There was a post recently that the pre-formed charcoal briquettes can contain wheat as a binder. What kind of grill were you using?

Not sure how to post a link but you'll find if if you run a search for briquettes.
