Can both celiac and gluten intolerance result in deficiencies? Since I don't know whether I have celiac or intolerance, which vitamins should I have checked? Is there anything else I should get checked? Thanks in advance.

Yes, it does sound a lot like celiac. But even if it is "merely" gluten intolerance you can still suffer from the same malnutrition and you need to be tested for your nutrient levels. Besides vitamins (and especially D and B12) you should also check iron/ferritin, mganesium, calcium, zinc, and you should also have a thyroid test.

Thank you mushroom. This board has been incredibly informative and helpful.
