Toaster Bags?

We are planning a trip and was wondering where I could get those bags that you can slip over gluten-free bread and toast in any toaster? Are they relatively safe to use? In the past, we've taken gluten-free cereal down to the "free breakfasts" in hotels, but I would like another option for celiac husband.

I got mine through Amazon (Toastabags or Toast It Toaster Bags). We use them for travel, too. Have only used them a couple of times but I'm happy with them.

We had this question a few months ago. Someone was able to get them at thier local health food store. I ordered some on-line from a kitchen store & I found some in town from a locally owned kitchen store. I think that Pampered Chef had some at one time.

That was probably me. Our local health food store does carry them. They come in a pack of four for $6.99 or so I believe. I have used mine many times and really like them. You can also stick some cheese/condiments between two pieces of bread and toast (if your bread is thin enough such as Udi's bread).

Each bag is supposed to last at least 50 times.

Brilliant. I use parchment paper for cooking often but for some reason didn't even think about this application.

I've not heard of the DNA test I will definitely look into that. And I did not know that the neuropathy was symptoms of vitamin deficiency. I have been trying to get on a good vitamin regimen. Thank you!

My GI Doctor took blood work and said my Iron levels were actually high. But they took my blood a couple weeks after my infusion so I'm thinking that's why they were showing so high, but they knew I had the infusions. The infusions did help greatly but I am also on an Iron pill that I can instantly notice if I have not taken it for a few days.  Yes, I have read up on that! Thank you so much! I sure that will be fun! Hahaha

@shadycharacter, did you mean to reply to another post about sourdough bread? The present thread isn't about that.

Thanks for your response. It seems to be only with gluten, illness, or vaccination.

Welcome to the forum, @LimpToeTheTimeless Bone growth plates close in the late teens to early twenties, so it's doubtful you'll grow much taller, but you may start to bulk up in muscle.  Remember to boost your absorption of vitamins and minerals needed to build muscle by eating a nutritionally dense diet and supplementing with essential vitamins and minerals, especially Thiamine B1, to counteract the malabsorption caused by Celiac Disease.
