Interesting article. I find this to be true; in Italy I go to the pharmacies for gluten-free products (grocery stores do carry some, too). Italians must be tested for celiac by the age of either 5 or 6 so pretty much everyone is well aware of it. There are gluten-free Italian restaurants where the chefs/servers know far more than many of our doctors do! :P
