Tyson's Frozen Chicken Breasts

Are the frozen chicken breasts gluten-free? The ingredients listed are ckn broth and seasonings added. I called the company and they said they are gluten-free, but Im a little hesitant. Anyone else know????

I too eat the Tyson brand chicken breasts. I only use the plain ones though, not the bbq wings or anything else because im paranoid on id i can actually have it. I have no problems with it.... It is something that can bubble my gut if I eat too much though, or if I eat it alone as well but nothing bad... just bloaty. Just have a normal BM soon after and Im fine. For some reason I always have a BM soon after eating chicken. No problems though. Get to eating.. Yummm!

I just learned recently (thank you, Mariann!) that if a company adds hydrolyzed protein and salt to its poultry-soaking solution, the free glutamine (from the protein) and the free sodium (from the salt) will combine to make monosodium glutamate (MSG). They don't have to list MSG as an ingredient, however, because they didn't add pre-made MSG powder to the solution.

I wonder if they do it on purpose to circumvent labeling requirements!

I know MSG can lead to headaches (and probably explains at least some that I have had after eating poultry). Do you know if it can also cause burbling and loose stools, which I also get after most times that I eat poultry? I could research the subject, but I thought I'd ask here first.

Wow.. I wonder if that is why I feel the way I do after eating their chicken, or any chicken for that matter. That would be great if you could look into it! Lemme know hun!
