I've made these twice now and my boys LOVE them. I'm tired today after making 10 dozen of these little suckers and most are going in the freezer for the kids lunches. Hubby likes them with his coffee.

You know, before they get dipped they don't really have that much sugar. Instead of dipping in sugar, imagine a warm honey butter cinnamon nutmeg sauce (maybe with cream? hmm...) poured over them as a side to an omelet and homefries on a holiday morning! Maybe after baking I would cut them in half and pan fry them in butter and THEN put the sauce on them....
