Hi all. :)

Firstly, I just wanna say how much I love this forum, it was so helpful to me when I was first figuring out what I was gluten sensitive. Three years later and my health is so dramatically better! That was partially due to some of the wonderful information I got on this forum and website. Lots of love!

All the best!

Thanks for sharing!

Your story is very familiar. I was diagnosed with Repetitive Strain Injury after I damaged my thumb, but it affected my whole arm and neck. Cost me my job in the end. Reading stories like yours and folks here with carpal tunnel syndrome I think now it was celiac that stopped me healing.

I had to self diagnose like you, after years of wheat free. I think mine started after living in Italy on pasta pizza and espresso.

Great you found a way through. I have been gluten-free a couple of months and am building up to a full elimination diet. I cut out a load of stuff after doing Atkins a few years ago, but I know there is more to go.

Nice to find a fellow rock carrier :)

Good luck keeping it all going

Hi all. :)

So I just wrote out my whole, long, story about my health and path to recovery, and I wanted to share. I put it up on the internet to try to help other people with similar health issues. (and I don't make any money off my blog, so this isn't some marketing shtick!)

All the best!

Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep searching for a cause?

I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?
    • mishyj
Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.
