  4. Provincetown

Does anyone know of ANYTHING gluten free in Provincetown? I am planning on going in October and want to be able to eat... any restaurants... and b&b's that happen to serve gluten-free food.. health food stores that have bars that i can sneak into a restaurant when everyone else is eating real food?
  5. does enterolab test for other things and do you need to go back to eating gluten?
  6. Omg! This Stuff Really Works!

what isle can this be found it? i went to walmart and looked in both the antiacid section with all the tummy meds as well as the airfreshener isle... where is it?
  7. went to a Gluten Free Vendor Fair on Sunday and picked up a at home genetic testing kit.. i thought how great.. a simple cheek swab and you send it in... no getting jabbed with needles (which leads to me passing out) and no trecking to a doctor who has no idea why you are even doing it.. i open it up when i get home and BAM!!! $355 to get the test done! I'm about to call my insurance company to see if they cover it.. but before I do it I wanted to get opinions on these tests.. has anyone done this or other genetic testing for celiac? i tested positive in the blood test.. have yet to get the biopsy... i'm thinking if i test positive for the genetic test i dont need the biopsy? i really cannot even think about getting an IV nevermind actually doing it..
  8. I will be going to a new GI next week... I havent been to a GI about celiac because the ones I had been to just told me I have IBS.. I tested postive with the blood test.. what other tests should I request?
  9. Dr. Green

does anyone go to Dr. Green? I hear he is THE Dr. to go to. I was curious to know if anyone who does go to him, or any of the doctors at Columbia, use Empire for their insurance. With Dr. Green you pay and then get reimbursed. Has anyone used Empire with him?
  10. I need to find a gluten free shampoo.. unfortunately I have to use head & shoulders.. does anyone know if that is gluten free? or does anyone know of a gluten free alternative? is it possible that the gluten is drying out my scalp? conditioner.. i'll use anything as long as it's not for thin hair or added body whatever.. I have A LOT of hair and do not need any added body! face wash.. I am 22 but unfortunately I have the skin of a 13 year old and still get acne.. but everything seems to dry out my face at the same time.. so i need a gluten free face wash that will help with acne.. along with face wash comes face moisturizer.. toothpaste? whats gluten free? right now i use colgate.. well i think its colgate.. pretty much anything anti-cavity and whitening... so where can I start? where is there a list of mainstream products? also i guess deoderant? perfumes aren't an issue right? wow.. i thought avoiding gluten sucked before.. now it's even worse.. jeeeze..
  11. yiiiiiikes... so then... what about touching the hair of a girlfriend or boyfriend or whomever?
  12. I am not sure if this is the right subforum to be posting in.. but I wasn't sure which one to post in.. I am currently really confused about where to go career wise.. I went to school for 4 years and have my BS in Therapeutic Recreation.. I have since decided that this is not for me.. I need a change.. I bust my @$$ for pennies and I don't get very much respect.. I am thinking that I would like to do something to help people who need to be gluten free.. I am not doctor material.. but I was thinking maybe a dietician or nutritionist? wanted to go to culinary arts school but from what I understand it's difficult to do if you cannot have gluten since chefs need to taste their work... any ideas? what could we gluten-un-friendlies need?
  13. ok.. I'll admit.. I am no longer a "teen".. I am newly out of "teen"dom and I am 22... but unfortunately.. I still have the skin of a teenager..
