  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  2. A couple of my photos were on the cover of the expo magazine
  3. I'm 32 weeks now - at my last appointment they screened me for pre-term labour.. I'll find out more this week I'm definately gluten and wheat free, and have had a good pregnancy up until now. Hopefully they find nothing! (I've been having pre-term signs for a couple of weeks now, but didn't realise them as signs) I'm also having trouble absorbing iron, even though I'm taking my supplements as per usual and keeping up a great diet... my count was lower than the low levels that are still OK in pregnancy
  4. Anyone else experience this or know of it? I've been lactose intolerant for as long as I can remember, but now that I'm pregnant I find I can have dairy products and not get any of the usual side effects (stomach upset, headache) I guess it's something so that the baby gets more calcium?
  5. I've never been officially diagnosed (went on the diet before I thought to get tested) but I'll share my experience I've had terrible periods since I could remember - and it was getting worse. I was having symptoms that would last 3 weeks out of the month. I had irregular and long cycles. Unexplained pain etc. I had scans and tests, all my reproductive organs and levels seemed fine. Once I switched over to wheat/gluten and yeast free - I felt better and different. I'm now 9 weeks pregnant I don't know whether it's that FOR SURE, but I can tell you it made a big difference in my health. I was gluten free for about 9 months before I got pregnant. Good luck to your daughter xx It's definately worth investigating
  6. Will I Ever Feel Better?

I've heard going on the IV helps alot of women IMMENSELY, it might be your only option right now if you can't keep fluids down To curb my nausea, I'm eating alot of carbs and protein and drinking ALOT of water. If I haven't drunk enough, I snack on a Hydralyte which rehydrates me Take it easy xx
  7. Some success! I found most of the range at Franklins - no Coles supermarket had it over the weekend (went to about 4). I went to Franklins at Castle Mall, NSW but I know there are some at Blacktown MegaCentre, NSW too. So far I've had the crumbed chicken (REAL chicken!!!), donuts (so good warm) and I'm having the beef lasagna tonight. I have sticky date pudding in the freezer which I'm trying to hold out on. I couldn't find the fish fillets, but I did see the pizza. Didn't see the patties etc. Best bet is to go to Franklins if you can (it's out of my way, but worth it) or to ask the manager at Coles.

  10. Does anyone know whether there are gluten-free instant noodles? Like the Maggi noodle type - chicken or beef Also, anyone seen gluten-free and Yeast Free hamburger buns? Thanks p.s. It took me months to figure out how to log back into the forum - use your email address as your username! Doh!
  11. I'm DETERMINED to track this down this weekend - I need to have some of those fish fillets and chicken!! Neeeed to. I tasted some at the Expo last year - very nice. The pizza ... could be better though.
  12. Has anyone heard of or used ImuPro300? http://www.imupro.com.au
  13. Anxieties/depression

Excellent excellent thread My panic attacks and agoraphobia is the main reason why I researched gluten free foods. It was TERRIBLE for me, my last bad attach was overseas after endlessly eating foods that I'd normally eat once a fortnight. Being gluten free for me, is a treatment for my anxiety. I haven't had any big attacks since, only small ones after being glutened and as I got rid of the gluten in my system, so I'm definately in the camp of 'gluten makes me crazy'. I don't touch any processed meat - even fresh meat, if I'm not sure of where it came from. I LOOOVE turkey but I haven't had it since May.

  15. Your Opinion Please...

I wouldn't risk it. Simple as that It's way too important to keep your body in top condition before, during and after pregnancy, and if you have been diagnosed, then you must be strict.
