  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  2. We like the pamelas wheat free bread mix, only last a day or two around here, before we eat it all!
  3. Recipie For Beef Stroganaff?

Thank you all, I now have multiple options!
  4. They add lactase enzyme and it breaks down the lactose protein, into glucose which makes it lactose free and easy to digest. They say our bodies actually stop producing lactase after we are weaned as babies. I have also read that 50 percent of adults in the world are lactose intolerant.
  5. With my cereal I use Lactose free milk. Safeway has their own brand, if you cant find that use Lactaid. They actually taste good, even a tad sweeter then regular milk. When I go out for a latte, I order it with vanilla soy milk. I prefer the soy milk, but I don't buy it for home use because it has a shorter shelf life and I don't drink it fast enough. The lactose free milks have a longer shelf life, so I buy them.
  6. Im not a very good cook, and I am really craving beef stroganaff. Anybody have any recipies or ideas?
  7. Thanks Angie for the idea about the quinoa flakes. I just saw these yesterday, and now I will have to buy them next time. Sounds like a good alternative to oatmeal, and very soothing for upset stomachs.
  8. Possible Dairy Problem

Thank you everyone, for your help. I have been dairy free for one week and am feeling better. This too is a learning process and has had quite a few setbacks, but those have just reinforced the need to stay dairy free. I am hoping that someday I will be able to add it back to my diet, but I am gratefull to be feeling a little better right now. I just cant wait untill I feel great again.
  9. Financial Assistance For Low Income Families?

I would like the cornbread and polenta recipies please!
  10. Financial Assistance For Low Income Families?

Within Reach (formerly Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies) Has always been a good resouce for me, they are very helpfull. I always used the 800 number (of course I can't find it now) here is the link to their website http://www.hmhbwa.org/ I know WIC would help, most of the coupons are for cereal, milk, cheese, beans, peanut butter, juice, eggs. Since you are still breastfeeding they would also offer carrotts, and tuna fish. Where i live i also get $20 vouchers for the farmers market. I hope this helps. Jennifer
  11. Grocery Outlet!

    The canned food outlet.
  12. Possible Dairy Problem

I am feeling better since going gluten free, but I am still having D. Im thinking of going without dairy for awhile to see if that is a problem as well as gluten. How long do you think it will take to feel better if dairy is a problem? My quess is one to two weeks. Can I use soymilk as a substitute for milk? My last question is what else do I need to watch out for on a dairy free diet? I hope this makes sense...
  13. Grocery Outlet!

Just bought the mac n cheese and penne bowls for 1.50 each. Im taking some to my moms house so I will always have something to eat that I know is safe. Thanks again for the heads up on this!
  14. Gluten Free Pantry

Did you find the mixes in a wallmart superstore- or was it just one of the smaller wallmarts? I ask because I live closet to one of the smaller wallmarts, and im want some of these mixes. So I need to find out if I should take the longer drive to the superstore.
  15. Hi, i just cracked open a Bards Tale Beer, Dragons gold. I just had to post that this beer is DELICIOUS! I have tried the Redbridge and this is so much better. It is about two dollars more a six pack, but so worth it. So cheers to the weekend!
