  1. Definitely make sure you look at the dates on the posts before you come onto the site and reprimand someone for posting something that was accurate at that time. My goodness.
  2. Well I'm sorry....but my rotisserie chickens at Giant do not say that, which is why I was asking! Maybe they've changed things, but I'm looking at one directly in front of me as we speak. People question things because a lot of people make claims on this board with no proof and a lot of the times, the information isn't correct, hence, my asking where...
  3. Can you show some proof that the Giant rotisserie's aren't gluten free? I eat them all the time and have no problems...the ingrediants don't lead me to believe that they're not.
  4. That only tests one very small area of Virginia, which to me shows that its a problem in that area. Have you seen any research to show that something like this is a problem nationally?
  5. https://www.icee.com/ Icee's are gluten free, check out their site and it shows you every ingrediant. Even states "gluten free"
  6. I asked for suggestions a few days ago too with little response! I'll be watching your topic like a hawk to see if there are any ideas
  7. I'm with LM on this one. I have family members who work for Hershey Co. and have been told directly that they won't claim gluten free but their products don't contain gluten ingrediants. If they changed their formula to something that did contain those ingrediants, they'd be obligated by the FDA to put that on the label. I eat these and many of their other...
  8. I'm starting to realize that I can't have Teff Flour without it making me have some delightful bathroom experiences. It's not a gluten pain like I get in my stomach but it is an immediate "go not pass go, do not collect $200" emergency.
  9. Loey- Just be careful...some of the information "learned" on this forum isn't always accurate. As with any open forum, some people post statements and make comments with very little facts other than hearsay. This particular thread for example has raised some questions. I have no information to say if cigars have gluten or if they do not because I'm not...
  10. A lot of things can make you sick that don't necessarily have anything to do with your being gluten free. Sometimes the types of foods you eat give you a face reaction...hell, I can't eat Udi's brand at all because I have one of these... types of days (please tell me y'all got that..hahah) but that has to do with how the product is processed, my gluten...
  11. High Fructose Corn Syrup is fine in moderation....no one has to put their candy back on the shelf! I mean, you have impressive abs so I'm sure you don't eat candy but a lot of us don't look like that and tend to enjoy a snickers now and then....but you...you go on with your bad self and that rockin 100 pack!
  12. I always have immodium on hand for emergency purposes and have been known to use them to stop things every once in awhile should I have an important event or meeting that I have to be there for. I know its hard sometimes to control that type of feeling but it really is best to get that stuff out of your system...immodium just backs it up and you'll have...
  13. Just an addition to the Udi's drama.......my boyfriend, who is not gluten free, finished these off for me since I couldn't tolerate them and he had some pretty awful stomach issues on the same days he ate the products. Now it could be a total coincidence, or maybe we got a bad batch?? Thoughts?
  14. I actually don't have any other intolerences aside from being a celiac. I've been a celiac for 6 1/2 years with no other intolerences or issues like what I've had occur with Udi's. I've eaten all of the ingrediants through other products with no issue. Perhaps its the combination of the ingrediants that gets me, I don't know but I'm not typically a super...
  15. I've been eating breakfast the same time every day for three days. I've been having emergencies the same time every day for three days. The only common factor. Udi's. I'm so broken up about it....amidst my mad dashes to the restroom at my office.
  16. This thread is from 2005!!!! We need to be careful about what type of information that we stir up because it might not be valid anymore. For example, on a thread from last May it states: "Per email: "We're happy to tell you-- all Tropicana products that are 100% juice are gluten free. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that gluten is not present in products...
  17. Buffalo Wild Wings is in Conway and you can eat a few things there. Lowes Foods (foodstore) has great gluten free sections, as does Kroger. Bovines in Murrells Inlet has gluten free options. Prossers BBQ has gluten free options. Really any seafood place can make something to your liking and will work to cater to you. There's a chic-fil-a at Surfside...
  18. ' You're incorrect here. By law, they absolutely do have to list wheat.
  19. Right....as I said, I saw that the ingredients listed it as being gluten free. I was curious about anyones reaction to them.
  20. I'm curious about McDonald's McFrappes and if they're gluten free. Per their website, they seem as if they are but I was curious if anyone had experience with it. I'm aware of the negatives about McDonald's and the many forums on this site bashing their food...I'm not trying to eat there, just trying to get one of those delicious looking Frappes. Anyone...
  21. It depends on your reaction to this. A product can be gluten free and processed on shared equipment. I wouldn't be overwhelmed about this or frustrated with Trader Joe's. They're a good company who actually work pretty hard to make things possible for people with celiac disease and it bothers me that people are so quick to accuse them of wrongdoing. Most...
  22. McDonald's is a tricky beast......I think most folks choose to stay away from there because of the gluten free items being questionable. I don't know a definite answer about the grilled chicken but I'd stick to Wendy's or Chick-Fil-A or something.
  23. I'm allergic to onions but not garlic. Cooked or raw, onions will definitely make me sick..might just be that you're sensitive to them, the cooking experiment is a good idea...however it wasn't for me!! It's crazy how quickly you KNOW when there is onions in something too, my dad and I are onion radars, no one can slip it past us, not that they intentionally...
