  1. *runs In Circles*

Thank you!!!!! I was having a minor panic attack there. I survive on those things. Well, those and ice cream...
  2. Hey... Well, my mom was looking for gluten-free easter candy and ran across a refrence that Pamela's cookies are NOT gluten free! Well, we all promptly started freaking out, as we have those in our refrigerator. (Sorry I've been away anyway... busy.) So I'm now looking for proof of that statement, so HELP!!! If you have any info that would be great. I really hope they are gluten free.
  3. I love Dragons in Our Midst as well!!! I was a little sceptical at 1st because I daon't read a lot of fantasy, but I could not put them down, they're awesome!!!

  4. Celiac And Acne And Excema?

Halloo! I have acne and terrible Dandruff. My gluten-free diet hasn't helped these much. What I do though, is I use a wonderful magical lovely thing called T-gel. It takes a while to get used to the smell in the shower, but the smell washes out. ^^ It's great, though you can't use it every day. I also go to my dermatologist and use another wonderful thing called Ziana. It workes over a period of time, though for quick fixes I use Cortisone 10.
  5. I'm New Here

Except here it's... COLORFUL!!! Oh, And I must go.... Piano practice... >.<
  6. I'm New Here

NIKKI???!!!! *tackleglomps* It's LightInTheDarkness from Celiacteens! This is random... I recognized your siggy... if this is the wrong person then by all means I apologize.
  7. Chick-fil-a

Oh, I've run into this problem a lot. I've found that the only solution is to be assertive! Kindly assertive, but assertive. You need to step foreward and say, "Oh, I can't eat the chicken nuggets, is there any way I could get the sandwitch instead?" I know if feels rude, but if the mom knows about celiac, they generally don't mind. I't hard, but the only way, apart from living on Lays for 12 hours.
  8. For The "real" Teens

Awesome! i wish I lived in hawaii... Though I do like South FL...
  9. Similar Interests?

    STARGIRL!!! YOU EXIST!!! *tackleglomps*
  10. Similar Interests?

AH! YES! A kindred spirit. My art is writing. It's the only art I am any good at. I loooove to sing... and dance... and martial arts... I love art... Got lots of new poetry lately and a prolouge of a book I wish to read...
  11. Lip Gloss

Oh man, I totally share your frustration. For three looooong months of cracked lips, I couldn't find a brand that would SWEAR they were gluten-free. It's infuriating. If you could tell us what brand it is then I might be able to verify it or find out for you. (I've had lots of practie! *groan*) I finally ended up using burts bees. It TINGLES!!!
  12. I'm New To This

WElcome to the forum! Well... I love the Quaker rice cakes too, but usally if there's a chance of CC, I end up getting it. So, yeah, like Stargirl said, I'd stick with the things that I KNOW are gluten-free for a couple months. Luckily, there are lots of subsitutes that taste pretty good. It is a journey of trial and error, so expect stumbling blocks. But back to the rice cakes.... There are other brands of Rice cakes that taste just as good, if not better. *huggles brown rice cakes* I like brown rice...
  13. I'm New Here

Heyness! Welcome to the boards! I completely understand. I've been Gluten-free for four months. I had it easier than you, since my mom been gluten-free for a year or so. But ANYWAY... I can help y'all on the bread issues. There is this awesome bread called Chebe bread. It is God's gift to Celiac mankind. Look for it, I think they sell it a lot of stores. It involves baking, though. Never buy the frozen gluten-free bread (Or any other premade Gluten free bread, for that matter,) unless you want to make french toast with it. (Then, by all means, go ahead!) I'd also go for the kinnickinick Chocolate donuts. And I think that Whole Foods has a brand of frozen Gluten-free waffles that are amazing. Vans, I think it is. I'm one of the daily active Teenagers that actually stays on for any amount of time. Everything will work out. The Diet isn't that bad.
  14. Hard To Control Addictions

Oh man, I pity you. I understand completely. I find that the best thing to do is to eat (or in my case go on the computer... I was addicted to things I shouldnt've done forever) in the presence of others. Make sure friends/family are around all the time. It helps.
  15. I, for one, love some of the old classics such as... Road to Bali Jack and the Beanstalk Taming of the Shrew My Girl Friday ANything with Bing Crosby and Bob Hope^^ Who rock. NOw, for modern favs... Not all these are lighthearted, so... yeah. All Star Wars Ratitoulle (I know I spelled that wrong... -.-) Pirates of the Carribean (Halleluja chorus) Narnia Uh.... I'll post more as I think of them, but I'm not exactly a Movie lover. Now I CAN give you lists of books. Loooong lists of books.
