  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  2. Have you seen a doctor to find out if you also have Graves disease or crones? They are common for people with celiacs and cause those types of symptoms.

  3. Hi , I dont know if its the change in seasons or what but I really am not into food that much recently. I have been eating egg beaters scrambled, coke for lunch brown rice and tuna fish for dinner. I try to do a power yoga dvd or walk around the lake near me but dont have much energy. A friend of mine who is a personal trainer told me to sit on an exercise ball while watching t.v as this will work your abs. I tried it last night and it really does work!! Deb
  4. I have gained weight, if I ate any less I would be eating dust. Does any one know why its hard to loose weight after being diagnosed, I am getting tired of people telling me I look healthy.

Hi, Iwas diagnosed when I was in my 40's , apparantly my pregnancy triggered it. I agree it is very frustrating telling friends over and over again you just cant eat the same food they can. If I get invited anywere for dinner I always voulenteer to bring food for me. I could kill my husband when for the upteenth time he forgets about my diet and brings home dinner that I cant eat. He tells me, "well, your not doing anything tomorrow, so what if you get sick and spend the morning in the bathroom". My mother also thinks that just a little wont hurt you!!!! Good luck Deb
  6. Hi, I am new to doing this kind of stuff on the computer so I hope I dont have 3 postings on the same subject!! I have had celiac for 2 years , I have gone from 118 pounds to 148 and cant seem to loose any weight. I got so discouraged I threw out my scale. I exercise regularly and am careful on what I eat but nothing. Also If you buy a product that is gluten free but says its made in a factory that processes wheat is it safe to eat??? I dont know anyone else with Celiac and my dietitian knew less than me. Would love to join the thread, Thanks Deb
  7. Hi, I would love to join your accountability thread. I have gained 25 lbs since being diagnosed with celiac. I was eating raw foods for a while as that was what my body was craving but started getting sick from that. Also veggies, lentils beans I cant seem to digest anymore. The only thing I can tolerate is starchy food. My stomach is always bloated and no ammount of walking or ab exercises work. Any suggestions. Thanks
  8. I have had celiac disease for 2 years. Everything was going great until a few months ago when eating things like salad and veggies made me sick. My stomach is always bloated and I can only eat starchy food. Has any one else had these type of symtoms?? Thanks
