About Me

My mother and aunt had celiac disease but it was never suspected with me despite being anemic and having gastric flu often when I was younger. It wasn't until a few years ago that my natropath picked up on gluten intolerance and told me my intestines were inflamed, that I tried to get tested. It took a year to get diagnosed and my IgA test came out at 100 units. I was finally diagnosed with celiac disease in the spring of 2009.

  1. I've had problems with sciatica too and yoga really helps, deep hip stretches really loosen up those areas. It seems that it's sometimes caused by sitting too much as well as wearing high heels. A lot of tension is stored around the hip area and lower back so any relaxing form of exercise would really help. I try to avoid wearing high heels and that helped...
