  5. Rash On Face While Pregnant?

"Melasma or chloasma" is known as the mask of pregnancy. This is somewhat common. I don't think this is an "itchy rash" though- it's said to be pigment darkening- not red itchy. Is the rash only on your face or on other parts of your body? There are so many causes of rashes. Are you eating something more than usual during your pregnancy- or is there a face cream that you are using that could be the culprit? Hmm. not much to offer from me. sorry.
  6. Your like MacDonald's chicken nugget recipe was a HUGE success!!!! They were so easy to make! Thank you Thank you!!!!!! My children LOVED them!!! <i>"Take ground chicken (YES GROUND chicken) and roll it into little balls. Then roll those balls in egg, and then in crushed Lay's potato chips (or something similar...I crushed mine in the food processor so it was not so chunky) then put the balls on a baking sheet, press down a little for that "McNugget Shape" and bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Walla. McNuggets."</i>

  8. I wish my six year old would gain weight.
  9. Cows Milk

..I haven't had the chance to research this, but... Milk that comes from any breast is made up of the foods that lactating female eats. I just dont understand why a cow wouldnt be included in that theory. Cow's have the same diet everyday. I know this is a factor. So is a cow was fed and all grain diet, why wouldnt that grain protein be present? I buy milk with no hormones for our family when my children started sweating under their arms and I noticed my daughter at the age of 5 was growing a significant amount of leg hair. Totally off the subject of Celiac- sorry- But I would assume that grain would be transferred to a lacatating cow's milk. I never thought of this before reading this thread. In my food co-op there are eggs of chickens fed an all corn diet. This never occurred to me. How many celiacs out there are also allergic to milk? hmmm.
  10. Cows Milk

HOLD IT! WOAH. Regarding gluten passed through breastmilk: http://www.lalecheleague.org/cbi/Biospec.htm#_Toc64659323 http://www.csaceliacs.org/library/breastfeeding.php I will most definately research this subject- but before we have some soon- to-be-mom with celiac disease reading this page and deciding not to breastfeed because of a possibly gluten reaction... I just needed to post those links. Also on that subject, I always enocourage my new mom's to hold off on introducing solid food and supplements until babies are literally grabbing for a spoon. I also recommend that the first foods be pureed fruits and vegetables- like avacado and banana and not cereals.
  11. I just edited and removed the yogurt. I consider my daughter to be very sensitive to gluten. We have a dedicated gluten free toaster and cast iron.... all that. Zobey has had the STONYFIELD'S "gogurt" strawberry yogurt and no reactions. However, I removed it from my post to be on the safe end. I want this compilation of menus to be a good collection of safe foods able to be copied and taken to the grocery store. Thank you for helping me!
  12. Someone told me that being gluten intolerant is inhereted from the mother's genes? Is this true? My middle daughter is the gluten intolerant one. Hmmm. wondering if I should cut the gluten myself and see if I have any obvious changes? I don't have any health issues since I have lost 70 lbs (weight watchers). What do you think?
  13. Breakfast: Amazon Flakes (like frosted flakes- now they come in tropical fruit flavor) Milk 4 oz. Chocolate pediasure blended with HERSHEY
  14. Thank you- I edited that one- Phew! I hadn't opened the box yet- I would have checked it before puttting it in the snack bag- I have been using the ginger snaps.
  15. Quitting Beer Drinking
