  1. Neroli, How often do you take the VSL#3? Is there a difference between the powder form and the capsule form other than the amount of live bacteria? Thanks, Cindy
  2. Need Help Going Lectin-Free

    You should look at the book Eat Right 4 Your Type by Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo. He gives you a list of foods that you should eat for your blood type all based on lectins. Beneficial foods are like medicine in your body, neutral foods are ok and avoid foods are ones you don't want because your body reacts to the lectins. My husband has several food intolerances including gluten, soy, dairy, nightshades, legumes and certain nuts. This book has helped him and we try to get in as many beneficial foods as possible.

  5. My husband has been doing the SCD for 2 weeks now and has noticed a huge difference. He has neuropathy and his pain level went from a 10 down to a 1! He's going to an allergist tomorrow and we're hoping they can do a blood test for food intoleranes. He has lost 8 pounds and he really doesn't want to lose any more. I know some people have been on this diet for a long time. Does your weight keep dropping? Any ideas on what he can do to keep the weight from dropping? Thanks!
