  1. frustrated and bloated newbie

  2. I too am wondering when the healing is noticed; this is 8th week and today I am looking 4 - 5 months pregnant. I have been lactose intolerant always but just diagnosed end of 2009 with Celiac. I am so discipline, I eat about 6 different foods and the next week add something else. I did not do anything wrong and bamm...I am bloated. And the scale shows 8 pound weight gain...and that won't go away. So, needless to say, I wish there was the same pattern, do this for a week, 2 weeks or 2 months and you will feel better...I am still in the waiting to heal stage.
  3. Whey Protein Shake

Gluten free and lactose free...the rice protein is thin, not so filling. I used whey for years but since Celiac, I am also lactose intolerant...this is so hard as I had 2 protein shakes daily to get 5 meals a day..I mixed protein in my oatmeal..haha now that does not happen anymore. I just don't know how to eat to train...where do I start to look?
  4. Ok, I was told rice was good, I eat white or brown rice or rice noodles, rice crackers...and I have always eating salads and steamed vegetables for 20+ years without problem for example, last nights dinner did not affect me it was steamed zucchini, mushrooms, summer squash, chicken with coconut oil served over brown rice with a side salad with omega oil and apple cider vinegar and goat cheese..enzymes before and after and no problems....but I am eating bananas because they are portable to eat, as well as grapefruits..constipation is my problem and of course malabsorption when I thought I was doing soo well..this forum is helpful and educational..thank you...
  5. sorry about rule broken on day 1; thanks for message...I am here to learn all I can about this new illness to me so I too can inform others...thanks for helping me as it is quite frustrating

  6. I feel exactly the same, and it also makes my emotions swing. I do not understand how I can gain 10lbs when not eating like I used to and feel worse..and this is a new lifestyle change....I feel your pain...hopefully we will learn how to deal with it together! Connie Pridgen, CNC
  7. frustrated newly diagnosed celiac patient who happens to be nutritionist..I am so confused; been eating no gluten, eggs, soy or dairy since 1-1-10 and still feel bloated and uncomfortable and very emotional..is this normal? How do I train my nutrition mind to eat this way? Any help is appreciated
