  1. My intention was not to imply that the meat could be affected by being grain fed, but rather that poultry sold in supermarkets can be 'plumped' up with hydrolised wheat protein - its always best to read labels to check for these additives.
  2. Have you considered the chicken as the problem? Here in the UK wheat is often used to plump up chickens - don't know if this is also the case in US.
