  1. I may look into implants but that is very costly. And don't know if that's gluten free.
  2. I have not found any options for replacing my dentures. I wear them every day. But not feeling well. Always very tired is primary symptoms.
  3. I have discovered that gluten was in the products used to make my dentures. What's a person to do? Is there an ingredient that can replace the MMA? I have not been well since I started wearing them. But I refuse to not wear my dentures. Thanks for your input.
  4. I see this is an old post but I need help. I recently got top dentures. I am definitely having symptoms of gluten effects. I was diagnosed with Celiac about 15 years ago and extremely sensitive. MMA was found as an ingredient used to make my dentures. What else can be used in a lab besides MMA? That question was put on me by my dentist's office. Can anyone...
  5. Are there any updates as to dentures made from gluten products? I've recently gotten upper dentures and have not felt good even as the healing is about complete. Grrr!!!!
  6. Oh my!! I just went thru the experience (3 weeks ago) of having my upper teeth extracted and dentures put in on same day. My gums are healing well and I'm liking my new smile. But I've been sick for a while with the feeling of 'the gluten effect'. 😒 I'll be doing my homework 1st thing in the morning. Say a prayer, please.
  7. Oh wow. Very interesting. I was diagnosed with bladder cancer 3 years ago when a bladder tumor was found and surgically removed. I've undergone 2 additional surgeries with bladder tumors were removed. At the current time, I'm clear of any recurrence, monitoring every 3 months. Could be a connection. 🤔
  8. It has happened again. On Tuesday of this week I had a ct scan. Within an hour afterwards I became very bloated with severe pain in my stomach. When I got home I wasnt sure I could get out of the car because of the bloating and pain. I've slept every chance I could the last 4 days. It feels just like a gluten effect. But the 2 bottles of contrast says gluten...
  9. Thank you for looking at the labeling. I'm guessing it was a reaction to the iodine because I have felt so bad for about 3 days since the ct scan. I've never had that type of reaction before. Thanks again.
  10. On Monday I had a CT scan done for followup with Bladder Cancer. I had an iv and was given 100 ml omnipaque 350. Could this cause gluten contamination issues? I've been very lethargic, bloated, terrible stomach pains. All I want to do is sleep. I did throw up the next day. But only 1 time. Grrr!!! I may be posting in the wrong place, sorry~
  11. I have been diagnosed with Celiac Disease for about 12 years and follow a gluten free diet. What are the blood tests I should have done as a followup to diagnosis? I am scheduled to have some blood work done in a month for my endocrinologist for my T1 Diabetes. I would like to add what I need to the order. I do not have a proactive gastro Dr at this time...
