  1. I realise this is a fairly specific and medical question however, having concluded in all likelihood I have celiac (based on a history of associated symptoms which have gotten worse after eating more and more wheaty bread in my diet) I have decided to go gluten free for a while, just in case. My question is: if I have been on a gluten free diet for a week/two weeks before I get to see a doctor, will a test for celiac still flag it up? Or do I have to be bonefide sick for it to be detected?
