  1. Hello! I am from Edmonton, Ab but I will be travelling for 2 weeks in Nova Scotia where we will be eating most of our meals at restaurants. If you know of any restaurants that serve good Gluten Free meals, please let me know!! We will be all over the province, from Yarmouth to Cape Breton! I would eat almost anything but we really want the eastern canada experience with lots of SEAFOOD! Thanks!
  2. Thank you all for your posts! I appreciate the feedback. I am leaning towards avoiding those foods with such labels but it's hard sometimes when there isn't an alternative.
  3. I have been gluten free for almost 3 years now but I still struggle with this topic. Do you eat foods that have labels with "May contain wheat" Or " May contains traces of wheat" I don't have physical symptoms so I don't ever really know if I have been contaminated or not. I never purposely eat food that I know contains wheat but I will eat foods that have the label saying "May contain" occasionally. What's your take on this and what do you do? I know it's my choice in the end but I am curious to know what other people do when it comes to this! Thanks!
  4. Doctor In Edmonton?

Thank you Kamma! I will try that out and see what I can find! I love living in Edmonton - it's a really great city.
  5. Doctor In Edmonton?

Thanks for the reply. I had emailed the Celiac Association but they didn't have any sort of list which was disappointing! Thanks anyway!
  6. I am new to this forum but I really do need help! I am looking to find a family doctor in Edmonton, AB. I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease 2.5 years ago and still struggle with it. My goal is to find a long-term family doctor that can give any advice for my health with celiacs, as well as being a general doctor for my other health needs. In the next few years, my husband and I will most likely want to start a family and I will need all the tips and advice for my diet and pregnancy. Does anyone know or can recommend a doctor within Edmonton (or Sherwood Park, Fort Saskatchewan) for me? Thank you!
