  1. Sad And Angry

    That's depressing!
  2. If you like fruit snacks, Welch's Fruit Snacks are Gluten free, fat free with no preservatives.
  3. Codeine/hydrocodon Reactions

Julie, I use to take Codeine as a lost resort for migraines and in cough medicine before I found out I was sensitive to Gluten. I had no problems until recently. Now when I take it causes vomiting. I know that you can develop allergies/sensitivities at any age. I don't know which is the problem here but I don't really care, I just won't take it any more.
  4. Will We Ever Be Able To Travel?

My husband likes to travel so I know your fear/frustration. Try a cruise. You get a taste for different places and where you might want to come back to. I was recently on a Holland America cruise. I requested a gluten-free diet when booking. You can get just about anything on the menu with a days advanced notice. In the dining room I was given the next day's menu and whatever I ordered was made gluten-free. In Oct. we will have a short stay at a resort in VA. I emailed to ask and was given the chef's email address. He and I are having an email conversation about the diet and he has assured me that gluten-free will not be a problem. Hope this is of some help.

  6. Hi Im New

I'm sorry you are feeling so bad. It is very frustrating to feel sick and have no answers as to why. Going on the diet seems very difficult but you will find it really isn't as bad as it sounds. There are lots of Gluten Free substitutes for your favorite foods. There are more recipes available than you could make in your lifetime. It may sound weird but I have enjoyed finding alternatives. I have found that gluten-free recipes and products taste really good, not like diet versions food which can taste lousy. I hope you can get some of those answers soon.
  7. I lost weight as soon as I eliminated Gluten. I figured it was because I was eating more regularly. I lost 10lbs in the first month and have kept it off. I did read somewhere that some people lose wt. and some gain wt. I'm glad I'm on the 'losing side'
