  1. Does Wine Make You Sick?

Thank you all so much! I jotted those names down and will look for them this weekend. I do feel 1000% better since being gluten-free I guess I just need to allow my body to continue to heal and take some supplements to aide in digestion.
  2. Does Wine Make You Sick?

Thank you all so much! What digestive enzymes do you suggest? Imgonna get that and a probiotic this weekend.
  3. Does Wine Make You Sick?

The crazy thing is it was almost like my stomach wasnt digesting my meals yesterday at all. When I got sick after my glass of wine this was around midnight I threw up dinner...ALL of it and lunch and even breakfast! All of it like it was just sitting and not digesting...anyone have that issue too? Maybe I need to start a probiotic? any brands that are gluten-free? So I think the wine made me sick but there is something else going on (or lack of going on) within my stomach and digestive system. I do take vitamins daily etc but maybe I need something else too.
  4. So Ive been gluten free for over two months now...I feel great but recently I noticed Im getting sick after having a glass of white wine. I checked months ago to make sure its gluten-free and it is, its St James white wine and the first time I thought I drank too much on an empty stomach (two glasses on new years eve) led to an entire night of vomiting and diarhea then last night I had one glass and again an entire night of vomiting etc. Do any of you have reactions to alcohol? I have been so careful with what I eat and drink, havent been glutened once and now this? Any thoughts or experiences?
  5. Reaction But To What?

Thank you all so much for all the insight on this! I'm gonna take it much easier on processed foods and test out milk and eggs along the way to see if it was one or the other (or both!) causing the problem.. I still have so much to learn about all this but I'm excited to have so many to share it with
  6. Reaction But To What?

Thanks Cathey! I think that is great advice, I'm definitely gonna cut it out and see how I fare once my little villi's heal some more.
  7. Reaction But To What?

yes soy bothers me too! makes me itch or upset stomach, but mostly itch... crazy
  8. Reaction But To What?

the hashbrowns were homemade, just shredded potato with salt and pepper and lightly fried... the sauce was 100% gluten-free per the label.. yeah it was a big day, I won't even tell you what I ate on saturday, LOL like I said I eat super light monday through friday then I eat what I like sat and sun which I'm losing 1.5-2 lbs a week this way for the past 5 months I'm down 28 lbs so I'm sticking to what works, LOL
  9. Reaction But To What?

so if it's the fried egg then maybe give my stomach a rest from all the above then try each item one at a time?
  10. Reaction But To What?

I'm pretty sure the 3 muskateer is gluten-free.. it was on a halloween list on this site when I did a search and the ingredients didn't list anything that sounded like gluten.. I can check on that too.. the idea about eliminating lactose for a week sounds good.. I'm still not sure what casein is, gonna have to look into that, is that in all dairy products? I read somewhere too that some people can be lactose intolerant but cheese doesn't effect them? I do eat a lot of cheese and no reaction so far so I was curious about that as well..
  11. Ok So I've been Gluten Free for 14 days as of today and I must say I haven't felt this good in two years! Yesterday though something made me sick, bloating and god awful belches that was like rotten eggs.. Here is what I ate yesterday so maybe someone can help me figure out what it might have been?? Everything was 100% gluten-free so it had to be something else.. B- 1 fried egg, 1 hashbrown, homemade gluten-free biscuit and glass of milk. snack- chips with cream cheese/salsa dip L- 1/2 3 muskateer bar D- gluten-free spaghetti with meat sauce snack - chips with cream cheese/salsa dip ok so it was a big eating day for me, I go really light during the week so I can splurge on the weekends and I still lose weight each week eating like this but my concern is around 3-4 pm I started to feel bloated and the belching began and it lasted ALL night.. awful. I'm a belly sleeper and I could not put pressure on my stomach.. so I guess I'm trying to figure out if it could be the egg or was it the milk? maybe the cream cheese? anyone ever deal with this?
  12. Leftover sweet tacos which is pork n beans mixed with cooked hamburger meat with onions (sauteed with the meat) with a few seasoning like chilli etc and eaten in a corn tortilla. It's actually really yummy and we make a big batch so I can eat leftovers for awhile. I've been eating it since I was a kid and it was awesome to find out it's gluten free, yay!
  13. Tried my first gluten free bread tonight (Udi's white bread) and it was so good! I made it into garlic toast to go with my spaghetti I made which of course was made with gluten free pasta, sauce, etc.. I had a hard time stopping it was all so good! I'm a huge pasta/bread person so having something gluten free that can take the place I'm in heaven!! Loved EVERY bite of it all I'm only 10 days being gluten free but I must say its been amazing physically and my taste buds are NOT complaining, LOL
  14. Spaghetti Pie

Awesome! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I know I can't wait to make it again, it was good even for breakfast the next day, LOL
