  5. I have Celiac and just had my daughter tested. The nurse called with the results and quoted the doctor. Her results came back "slightly positive". What does that mean???? I asked what her number was and she said 349??? We have an appointment on Tuesday but I don't know if I should tell my daughter she has it or not. Any words of advise?

Thanks! Of course I am already gluten-free but I really want to get her tummy problems figured out before she graduates this June. I want to help her with the new gluten-free way of life before she leaves.
  9. Test Help

Called and spoke wirh the nurse today. They did the glaidian antibody test. Her rrsults were less then 3 and she said anything above a 17 would be a positive result. Guess we are going gluten-free for 2 weeks and see what happens.
  10. Test Help

Hello new Celiac here. I tested positive three weeks ago. My daughter has very similar issues (already lactose intol). I had her tested by a different doctor and they said "everything looks normal". I dont think they gave her the right test. When we went to the lab I said this is for testing for Celiac right? She said well this is a way around of it. What does that mean?? I want to call the doctor back but want to know what exactly I am asking for. Can any of you tell me what the name for the Celiac test is? Thanks in advace
