  1. How do I change my screen name -- wasn't thinking of detail my last name provides? Thanks Laura
  2. There has to be a physician somewhere on the OKC area familiar with celiac disease / gluten intolerance and nutritional issues related to these disease processes. I am 49 and have had severe problems off and on depending on my diet. I've been gluten free for over 6 months and all the gross symptoms have resolved. However I continue with the others such as chronic fatigue and have been basically blown off with go see a psychiatrist for depression or it's IBS deal with it. The funny is I'm a psychiatric professional lol! Let me know if anyone has luck finding a physician!
  3. I'm in same boat in Norman! I wonder how many of us there are.
  4. I'm in Norman and was misdiagnosed by my family physician and 4 GI Dr,s in Norman. I have been gluten free for 6 months after my dentist suggested it based on mouth sores and health history. I am not having any luck finding a physician familiar with the disease process and treatment (nutritional deficiency). Let me know if you find one I'm searching as well!
  5. I am 48 years old and have been misdiagnosed since I started having severe symptoms at age 12. My dentist discovered/recommended I go on strict gluten free diet (my mouth was full of lesions) and follow up with a specialist. I have been gluten free for more than 6 months and am a totally new person. However I have not been able to find a physician in my area who is familiar with this disease process. I know I have numerous nutritional deficiencys and need help. Thanks. Laura
