  1. Regarding Amy's dinners.... yes, my advice is to STAY AWAY from Amy's. Unfortunately, their package says "gluten free", when indeed the brand is NOT gluten free. I personally have discovered that Amy's brand NEVER works for me-- I end up sick for days. It's a tragedy that any brand, such as this, uses "gluten free" as a marketing tool. For the beginners - they'll buy Amy's products because of the well-marked package and they'll never know how their body took in gluten. NO to Amy's brand.
  2. It seems it will take many yrs before the education systems will embrace gluten intolerance as a possible cause of ADD and resulting learning disabilities. As a former high school teacher myself, I must admit that I was skeptical of the ADD diagnosis as a cause of behavior and poor student performance. However, I always knew that I too had all the classic ADD symptoms myself. But at age 44 I discovered that I was gluten intolerant--- within one week of being gluten-free, I felt a miraculous transformation. Not only gut-wise, but suddenly (for first time in my life) I had no ADD symptoms. Imagine the improved lives of thousands (possibly millions) of school age kids once gluten free is understood as a possible cure--- perhaps better behavior, higher test scores, greater success, happier lives! But it's very complicated. For instance- imagine the challenge of making a public school cafeteria gluten free!?
  3. Yes, I got sick the last time I tried Endangered Species Chocolate about a month ago but assumed I had been cross contaminated by something else.... As the label clearly says certified gluten free. However, I tried it again last night. I haven't felt this bad in a long time... Mainly SEVERE irritability. I'll never try this product again.
