  1. This was amazing!!!!! Thanks so so much!!!
  2. I'm making cheeseless Mexican pizza tomorrow. But I don't have any gluten-free flours onhand. I have the crust and stuff. I just need something to keep the pizza from sticking to the counter and sticking to the pan. Butter or flour doesn't work...I'm severely allergic to milk and wheat
  3. I'm 14 and school starts on friday for me. I have no clue what to pack. I'm severely allergic to wheat and milk. I will go into anaphylactic shock if I consume it. I have no idea what to bring though. I don't eat a lot so I dont need to bring that much. A corn tortilla filled with refried beans normally fills me up. Oh and I don't eat beef. The only meat I'll eat is seafood, fish, and chicken
  4. Wow That's crazy!!! Didn't know that so thanks so so much for telling me. I'm scared now does anyone else here have severe allergies besides gluten/wheat?? How do you cope??
  5. Oh and does anyone have a list of dedicated gluten free facilities?
  6. Grrr ok thanks. If its to keep me alive, I'll do it
  7. I'm severely allergic to wheat and milk. I accidentally consumed a granola bar with oats and milk in it and I had to be taken to the ER cause of anaphylactic shock. This just happened. I don't know what to do about cc. If a product doesn't have wheat or milk listed in its ingredients, but says "produced in a facility where wheat and milk products are also prepared" can i still eat it?
  8. Celiac Teens :d

I completely feel you. This weekend, I had to be rushed to the ER cause I had an anaphylactic reaction to wheat and milk. Now I can't eat wheat (gluten) or milk (cheese, butter, ice cream, yogurt, rtc). It's hard but I HAVE to stick to it. The next time i accidentally consume it, I could die. I've been scared to eat now too, after all had happened. But like the other user said, you just need to sit down and write what you CAN eat. I'm making cheese less Mexican pizza tonight (refried beans, salsa , corn) with a dairy free wheat free crust I found at whole foods. You can manage. Here are some ideas for you: Chicken/fish/meat and veggie Rice and meat Tacos Corn tortillas with stuff inside What did you eat before you found out you had celiac??? You can pretty much eat the same things. Now you just have to substitue pasta and bread for Gluten free pasta and bread
  9. Everyone is so so helpful!!! Thanks so much I found a frozen wheat and dairy free pizza crust at whole foods. Would refried beans, mushrooms, and tomato sauce taste good together on it do you think?? Ah I love ya guys!! This forum might just be my life saver
  10. So for the longest time I thought I was gluten and lactose intolerant. That all changed sunday when I consumed a granola bar with milk in it. I got into severe anaphylactic shock. Had to be rushed to the ER. Turns out I'm severely allergic to milk and wheat now. I'm upset. I haven't eaten anything since Sunday cause there's nothing to eat. No more cereal or frozen yogurt or pizza. I'm crying right now. I've lose like 6 pounds since Sunday. I had a couple questions. 1) ok so I can't eat wheat. Should I avoid oats, barely, and rye now too (since they can be cross contaminated)? 2) if a product says "made in a facility that processes wheat and milk" should I still eat it or not? (cause my reaction is so severe) 3) what can I eat for breakfast? Coconut yogurt is good but expensive so my mom doesn't wanna buy it everyday. I don't like soy cheese or soy milk or soy yogurt 4) what can I put on top of pizza?? How can I make cheese less pizza taste good? 5) school lunch ideas??? I have no clue what to bring 6) can i still eat out at restaurants or friends houses? How can I explain to them???? Sorry for the rant. I'm 14 and kinda depressed right now
  11. I'm 14 and just found out that I'll go into severe anaphylactic shock if I eat wheat or milk. I found this out on Sunday. I have no idea what to eat I've eaten like nothing since Sunday and lost like 8 pounds cause I'm scared to eat. A couple questions: 1) ok so I can't have wheat. I'd have to call 911 and go to the ER if I consumed it. Does that mean I should avoid rye, barley, and oats too (I've heard they can be cross contaminated)? 2) what can I eat for breakfast? No more honey bunches of oats cereal 3) school lunch ideas???? I have no idea whatsoever for this 4) if a product says: "made in a facility that produces milk an wheat products," should I still eat it? 5) how can I eat out at restaurants? Friends houses? 6) what can I put on pizza? I don't wanna try lactose free cheese...it's gross.
  12. Can I Eat Regular Oats?

I might not have Celiac though. I mean based on the fact that my dad has it, do you think i have it? If im only gluten sensitive (non celiac), does eating oats still cause damage? (regular oats). Oh and ps, I can handle normal gluten-free oats
