I am 38, have 5 kids 3 of whom have some sort of Autism Spectrum Disorder. I have a diagnosis of Aspergers myself, however feel I cope very well considering. Anxiety has been a constant plague in my life but like all things, you learn to live with it the best you can. After being one of those supermums for many years and burning the candle at both ends studying, working and raising a family my body decided that it wanted me to slow down. Worsening GI symptoms and other annoying ailments began to plague me in 2007. All this has led me to stay at home to look after my brood for now. One day I plan to return to my studies and finish a Masters in Exercise Physiology. Until then I have more than enough to keep me busy!
