  1. Hello all! I'm gluten intolerant, being tested for celiac this week. Ever since I went gluten free a couple of months ago, most of my gluten related issues have cleared up. Before I went gluten free, I would eat and eat and eat and eat and I would NEVER feel full. I know this is a symptom some people have when they're gluten sensitive but now that I don't eat gluten my appetite has decreased dramatically. I can literally have two scrambled eggs w/ veggies in the morning and be full until dinner time. At dinner time I can eat a simple salad and ill be fine. Is this normal or is there something else wrong with me now?
  2. My doctor is sending me to get blood work done. He doesn't want me to start eating gluten in order to see if I have celiac disease, so he's just sending me out to get the celiac genetic test. He didn't really explain it well though... What exactly does this exam do? What is it testing for? It won't tell me if I have celiac or not, right? Just if I'm genetically predisposed?
  3. Hello all! I was diagnosed with a gluten intolerance a little over two months ago. Going completely gluten free has been difficult. Last week, I was glutened and ever since I have had issues with C which I've tried to help with fiber supplements. Anyway, ever since I was glutened, I've had really bad stomach aches right after eating, no matter what I eat. No bloating or anything, just a bad stomach ache that lasts like, 10-20 minutes. Has this happened to anyone else after being glutened? How do I make it stop? Could it be from the fiber supplement (Konsyl psyllium, 2 tsps a day)?

  5. Hello everyone! I'm new to this website. Recently diagnosed with a gluten intolerance, I'm still new to dining out. I've stayed away from Chinese restaurants but its supposed to rain this Friday so my boyfriend wants to have a movie marathon complete with Chinese delivery.. I called a few Chinese restaurants and asked them specifically about their soy sauces -- I found one that does have gluten-free soy sauce. I know that if it came down to it, I could have steamed veggies and rice, but what else is gluten free? Has anyone tried mei fun? I heard that the noodles are rice based so would those be okay? How about fried rices? Any help would be much appreciated, thank you!
