  1. I think they do. Weis Markets carries them. They are great!!
  2. The Glutino pretzels are good. I have also found that Snyder's makes a gluten-free pretzel and they are awesome and I usually don't like pretzels at all. I just made a whole batch of the pretzel with Hershey Kiss and M n M on top for Christmas. they are yummy and best of all--gluten-free!!! Yeah!!!
  3. I have found that some of the local gas station coffee/cappuccino drinks affect me and some do not. I have had to find out through trial and error. I would miss a coffee/cappuccino mix in the morning if I couldn't find one I could have. We just had a pumpkin cappuccino that was awesome!! I tried making my own but it just wasn't the same. Oh and as a rule I don't like Starbucks. I have never gotten anything there that I like. Maybe I just didn't know what to try.
  4. Hi, I am only about 8 mos into this gluten-free lifestyle, but I was wondering if anyone else has the symptoms I seem to have. I do not have the intestinal issues that seem so common with wheat/gluten sensitivity but I get tight in my chest and get a lump in my throat. Also, I was getting very very tired and irritable--almost depressed even-- in addition to the difficulty breathing. I was told by my doctor that only a biopsy can indicate gluten/wheat allergies but another doctor did blood work. It came up negative for celiac but I KNOW that wheat/gluten is my problem. I have eliminated it and feel fine. Except today I ws shopping and was getting a headache from missing lunch so I grabbed a McDonald's new holiday peppermint McFlurry. Oops, before I even got home I could tell it had something in it my system didn't like. I used my inhaler and am still feeling the chest tightness but it is better. I should have know better. Ugh! Any insight into why my blood work was negative yet I feel lousy on wheat would be a great help. My husband is a natureopathic doctor and has tested me on wheat products and I test that they are not good for me but I am confused. I also was wondering if I should have a biopsy just to determine there is no damage from gluten intolerance, any thoughts? But I don't even know if it would show up since my symptoms appear to be atypical. Thanks for any helpful hints. Sometimes I get very discouraged being gluten-free! Janice
  5. I can breath without difficulty. I am newly self-diagnosed but only have symptoms of respiratory distress after consuming gluten/wheat. I feel better without gluten--more energy at least I don't get hit with that all-of-a-sudden-feel-like-I-got-hit-with-a truck tiredness like before. I am struggling right now with how to incorporate this new diet in my life style though.
  6. Hi, Just diagnosed myself as wheat/gluten intolerant during the past 8 mos, so I am new to this whole thing. I am struggling sometimes to figure out what I can eat. Recently went for a physical as part of a DOT requirement (Dept of Transportation) for my CDL license. Found out I have trace amounts of blood in my urine and so far the medical community can't figure out why. Has anyone ever had a correlation between celiac disease/wheat intolerance to this symptom? My health has not changed otherwise so I can't figure out why it would appear now. Oh by the way, I am non-typical in that my symptoms of wheat/gluten is that of difficulty breathing -- no intestinal upset. Any info would help. Thanks.
