  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  2. I'm an avid user of IRC, so I decided to start a room for any celiacs who might want to hang out and chat in real-time. If you've used IRC before, just log on to an EFNet server, then join #celiac and you're good to go. If you're interested but have never used IRC before, download a program such as mIRC and connect to a server on EFNet, such as irc.prison.net or irc.dks.ca to name a few you'll be able to choose from. Once connected, you can join #celiac from the channel window or just type /join #celiac from the status window. If you're still interested but can't seem to figure it out, just email me at justin.gray@gmail.com for help. I'm a celiac newby myself, and have been loving this message board, I figure I could give back by offering a bit of help to anybody who'd like some realtime chatting. Hope to see you there!
  3. Wow...I just signed up on this website a few days ago shortly after being diagnosed with celiac disease, and already I'm starting to feel so much better just from reading these kinds of posts. It's exactly stuff I've been wanting to talk about but just feel too weird saying anything to people I know. Anyways, to add my own poop-story, I was having some very bad times before I started going gluten-free just a week ago. It started about 2 years ago, I would have nasty diarrhea at least 3 times even before lunch, and then a few more times later in the day. It's been like that ever since, but this last week of eating gluten-free food, I've been getting better every day, somtimes only having one non-threatening bowel movement per day...I'm almost starting to feel like one of those normal people!
  4. Over the last 3 years, I've been having a lot of bladder issues...Having to make very frequent bathroom visits all the time. I started the gluten-free diet about a week ago and already it's beginning to clear up a little bit. I'm very happy to find somebody else who's also had the same results.
