  1. I have not been diagnosed celiac, but I can tell you that after going gluten free 8 months ago, my panic attacks have diminished about 80%. I have psoriasis and haven't had an outbreak since. You have to keep eating gluten in order to be tested so keep that in mind. Good luck, you are definitely not alone here.
  2. I have had them for 20 years. I tried gluten free as a last resort and after a week I noticed a huge change. No more constant rapid ❤ beat was the first thing. I've been getting better and better over the last 6 months, and feel like this was such a miracle. Let me ask you, do you have any other symptoms? I have terrible skin problems but no stomache issues. Also remember that you must be eating gluten in order to get tested. I didn't know, and now I don't want to do a gluten diet and bring back my symptoms. I'm new at this as well, but I wish you the best of luck! Try a magnesium supplement, it worked wonders for the general anxiety. Hope this helps.
  3. Magnesium really helped with my anxiety issues. I never get a full fledged panic attack since going gluten-free 7 months ago. I still get uneasy at times, and magnesium does wonders.
  4. I've never been diagnosed with DH, but get a rash that feels like burning match heads in the bottoms of my feet that lasts for weeks. I found applying apple cider vinegar to the area helps, and I second the benzocaine too.
  5. Celiac without GI issues?

Your story is so similar to mine, except my doctor won't test me for Celiac. I have had bad psoriasis for years and paralyzing anxiety. I've been off gluten for 6 months and haven't had a single issue with my skin and anxiety is down about 80%. Sorry I have no answers, but I wanted you to know you're not alone in your symptoms. I hope you get the answers you need.
  6. Anxiety

Thank you all so much. It's so great to know there are people out there that have shared my experience. I was feeling quite alone in this. I could never believe that I just had anxiety, and that was that. There has to be a reason for my body to act this way. I feel validated, and hopeful and that's a huge thing for me. I'm going to see my doctor next week, and see what she thinks. I'm hopeful that with all my symptoms (anxiety, skin rashes for months, sensitivity to light|sound, headaches, vertigo, temper) she won't shrug me off. My mom has Crohn's disease so maybe a connection. Thanks again for your advice and your ear, it truly helps.
  7. Hi, new here and this is my first post so please be kind. I'm wondering if anyone has suffered anxiety and panic attacks? I have struggled since childhood and recently decided to go gluten free to see if that helped. It was an amazing difference almost right away! Within days my severe anxiety had reduced drastically, and I feel like a whole new person. I'm hopeful to get my life back. I had no idea that I had to be eating gluten to get tested, and now I feel so good after 3 months that I don't want to go back. If you've had a reduction in anxiety or panic I'd love to hear about it. I really feel like I could've lived a better life had I known this sooner. When I tell people, they usually nod and smile, like I've bought into a fad diet. Thanks in advance for your info.
