  1. I have had IC for many years. Put up with alot of pain, then learned about being a celiac. I was so mad, sad, just plain furious about having both problems and also having scar tissue that has adhered to my intestinal tract. It has taken a few years for me to get a grip and quit abusing my body in every possible way. so I do understand. A funny thing...
  2. I'm glad that you were able to get some relief!
  3. I have had 5 abdominal surgeries (3 c-sections, 2 laparoscopies, 1 hysterectomy) I have adhesions that have decided to latch onto my bowel. I experience ongoing pain, often daily and dread any kind of bm. I recently saw my gastro. dr., who confirmed the adhesions. My options? Surgery or leave it alone. I chose to leave it alone until it becomes an emergency...
  4. I also have IC. My doctor was unable to find ulcerations on my bladder, but has diagnosed me with IC. Not everyone has the bladder ulcerations. I went to a walk-in clinic last week thinking that I had a kidney infection. Nope, must have been the IC. I'm miserable. It's hard to be a celiac and watch for IC stuff too. Of course, it...
  7. I'm glad things are a bit better for you. I also have adhesions and they are currently messing with my bowels. very painful. No surgery for me either, yet... IC is bad at times especially with apples and oj. take care. Tara
  8. Michelle, I read your post and found that you have IC also and adhesions. How are those two issues going for you? Tara
  9. This thread is a great idea. Thanks. My story is also similar to alot of posts that I have read. I believe that I have had celiac disease most of my life. It makes me angry that it has taken me until age 45 to get to the bottom of all of the pain and misery that I have been through. Not just physical pain, but emotional pain too. I remember when I was...
