  1. I have one copy MTHFR and I also have Factor V Leiden, which is a blood clotting disorder. I only found this all out because I have had 3 miscarriages in a row. As soon as I get pregnant again I will have to go on Lovenox, baby asprin, and Extra folic acid, B6 and B12. I take the B vitamins now because my homocysteine levels were high, but a recent blood test indicates the level is now normal. But I still need to be on extra B vitamins for life. Also, coffee and black tea increases your homocysteine levels. I have eliminated coffee and black tea and now only drink herbal teas. I have one perfectly healthy girl who is now 4. I had her before I experienced any of my miscarriages. It took over a year to conceive my daughter
  2. I use Against the Grain pizza crust (it comes frozen). http://www.againstthegraingourmet.com/ My husband who is not celiac says he loves it! It's delicious!
  3. Hi, I just logged on this morning to post about this and was very glad to see this topic already posted. This is our future and health!! Please share your thoughts on their comment section. With everyone
  4. hi there, I got my 3 year old daughter tested for celiac because I have celiac disease and it runs in my family. Doctor says her TTA came back normal but an IGG was a little elevated. The IGG was 106. He said because she has no symptoms she doesn't need to have any other test and that she is fine. But if she has any symptoms to call him. He wants to keep an eye on it and test her once a year. I know that some people can not have any symptoms... Do these results indicate that she has or might have celiac but she just doesn't have any symptoms? thanks
  5. I am A- and I have celiac. I've had one healthy pregnancy before I found out I had celiac. And one miscarriage since going gluten free. I also have mitral valve prolapse. And I have low platelets.
  6. So, it looks like maybe if I get my gut to heal the little "buggers" possibly will move out of their home. I'm kicking them out!! I'll give them a 2 week notice! lol I think for now I'll just stick to my probiotics, glutamine and aloe vera juice with hopes of healing the gut. IF I do have parasites, and my gut starts healing, hopefully they will just flush out naturally without taking anything. I know that most of the cleanses are scams. I always seem to fall for scams!! Sometimes they are so convincing. Thank you all so much for your responses. I was starting to get freaked out.
  7. drjmarkusic-- I am glad that your oxalate levels are normal since you've been gluten free! I hope you are feeling well. Ursa Major-- I'm sorry the cleanse made you sick. I hope you are doing well now. How did it make you ill? Which cleanse did you use? I'm still deciding if I should do it. There are parasite cleanses that are natural and use herbs. Example: Paragone. Has anyone ever used paragone? Their website makes it sound like you should do a cleanse first, then use the paragone. The thought of parasites totally wig me out! I wonder if I am just being paranoid!! I just want to be healthy! :-)
  8. I was wondering if anyone has tried a parasite cleanse. I asked my doctors office to mail me my test results when I found out I had celiac disease. As I study the blood work results, I noticed that my Eosinophil count was VERY high. So I Googled what that would mean and it says: "What abnormal results mean: Increased eosinophils (eosinophilia) is usually associated with allergic diseases and parasites (such as worms). Possible disorders include: Eczema Leukemia Autoimmune diseases Asthma Hay fever " So I wonder if it's high ONLY because of my allergic disease or because I have parasites too. Has anyone ever done a parasite cleanse? Any recommendations? Is it harmless to do even if I don't have parasites? I think I want to do it just in case. I am looking for a new doctor so I don't wish to go through him. Thanks!
  9. Diagnosis

I've asked my doctor the last two times I saw him if he could check my levels and he won't. He says he doesn't check them again. I think I need a new doctor!
  10. Is it possible to get diagnosed without a positive biopsy? Back in May 06 I was tested for celiac disease. My levels were really high. So I went gluten free because the nurse on the phone said to eliminate gluten from my diet. I felt a lot better,, then my GI has me get a biopsy done knowing I've been gluten free. He asked if I could go back to eating gluten and I said No, that I feel much better without it. And the thoughts of going through all the pains and D.again,, forget it! He still wanted me to get the biopsy. So i did and my results came back negative. So my question is: Is there any other way to get a diagnose without have to go back to eating gluten? I feel like I am stuck between a rock and a hard place!!
  11. Hi,, I was wondering if anyone else had a primary doctor like mine... He won't check my Igg and Iga levels agian to see if they went down. I've been gluten-free since May 1st 06 and I am curious to see if the levels went down. He says he doesn't test them again. Then the last two visits I've been to I've asked him to check my vitamin/minerals just in case I have any deficiencies. He will only check my B12 and Folate. He says he won't need to check the others, just to take a multivitamin. He is also very clueless with celiac disease. why can't I get any answers?? Should I switch doctors? He never seems to listen to me. He talks right over me and pushes me out the door. Sorry to be negative sounding,, I just need to vent a little.
  12. Thanks,,, I'll check it out! I've been using Dove since I've been gluten free (6 months) and need a change.
  13. I am searching for a natural and gluten free shampoo. Does anyone have any recommendations?
  14. I love these pretzels. I put plain cream cheese on them. It tastes just like a bagel.
  15. Outback

The Outback is the only restaurant I go to. I also always get the Alice's Spring Chicken with mashed potato'. So yummy! I have never had any problem there and I am very sensitive. They always write Gluten Free in big letters on the order slip. I am so sorry you had a bad experience.
