  1. I made a gluten-free pizza for dinner tonight and I ate only one piece...it made me feel horrible...just like I would feel if I ate real pizza. I know I don't have problems with dairy...and I know the pizza crust was gluten-free...along with the other ingredients. I think I might have issues with yeast...does anyone else have issues with yeast? 1 month gluten-free and feeling great...except for tonight.
  2. Has anyone ever had a feeling of numbness in their stomachs at night? When I was on gluten I use to wake up in the middle of the night and my stomach would feel numb...it was located mostly on the left side just below my rib cage. It is quite a weird feeling...I think I was just glutened yesterday...because I awoke with that wierd feeling again. It seems to go away as soon as I stand up and burp a handfull of times. Thanks...!
  3. Thank you so much Ursula...I was starting to think I was crazy... every doctor I have seen just dismisses it and tells me that swollen nodes aren't the cause of my neck pain. Did get sick a lot when you were on gluten... It seems like I was sick every other week last year...
  4. Hello... I have a swollen gland on the back of my neck that seems to fluctuate whenever I get glutened. I want to know if anyone else has this problem... It causes me a lot of pain and frustration... I take pain killers, but they only slightly work. Also...How long did it take for any of you to fully heal your immune system after you went gluten-free? Thanks! Dustin gluten-free since August 06' Brother is a diagnosed celiac.
  5. Hi... I just applied for membership. I have not been diagnosed as a celiac, but have been fighting symptoms consistent with celiac disease for a few years. My brother was just diagnosed with celiac disease and SS (Sjogren's). When I look back on the last few years, it is so clear that I am a celiac. I have been gluten-free for a few months and feel great. It is amazing how clear headed I feel. Hopefully I will be approved so I can meet other people that understand celiac and how frustrating it can be. Thanks Dustin Henderson, NV dbsrv@yahoo.com
  6. Lump On Neck

I also have a lot of celiac symptoms. One thing I noticed is that when I eat any gluten I have a lymph node on the back of my neck that gets really swollen...which pushes on a nerve that gives me headaches. Does anyone ever experience any burning sensations in their stomachs after being glutened? How about bloating so bad at night that their stomach seems to go numb in some places. I have not officially been dx'd as a celiac...but I am sure that I am. Every doctor I have seen doesn't even know what it is. They just tell me I am a hypochondriac and write me a prescription for whatever they think will help. I have pretty much given up on doctors and will fight this thing on my own.
  7. Hi Everyone, I have yet to be tested but I suspect that I have celiac... I feel perfectly fine in the morning until I eat... within 30 minutes I start to feel hot, and I get dizzy... I also get headaches. I have frequent bouts of dizziness... It usually goes away after I burp a few dozen times... I think it might have something to do with alll the gas pressure i get when I eat. I am finally going on a gluten-free diet starting soon. Wish me luck... and good luck to everyone that is suffering with celiac disease! Dustin
  8. Hello... I have had some serious symptoms for a couple of years now. Whenever I eat I get really bad gas and stomach bloating, to the point where if I don't burp a bunch of times I get dizzy and feel like I am having a panic attack... If I eat too late in the evening, I can't sleep because of the pressure in my stomach... I sometimes have to sit up and burp to be able to go back to sleep... I have frequent headaches... sometimes daily... My shoulders and elbow joints have been aching a lot... I have chronic sinus problems... I get sick very often... sometimes after I eat my stomach burns just above my navel to the left side just under my rib... I suffer from intermittent diarrhea... I get chest pains that are near my armpits and my heart ( i know its not heart related i have been to the AZ heart institute) that seem to be relieved when I burp. The list goes on... I am at my wits end dealing with doctors that tell me I am a hypochondriac or just dismiss it and write me a prescription for anti-biotics. I would like to know if this sounds like celiac... if anyone has had any of these symptoms... and what type of testing should I have done...? THANKS!
