Survived Colonscopy/endoscopy

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you know I just got home a little bit ago from having my endoscopy and colonoscopy and I survived :D

You are right, the prep for the colonoscopy was the worst part of it; the second being on a liquid diet :(

The doc said he found a lot of inflammation and also a polyp which was removed and some internal hemorrhoids. He said that there may be some gastritis and some duodenitis as well, but doesn't want to confirm it until the pathology report comes back which I can understand. He said he didn't see any cancer or any serious problems. Yeah!! He took several biopsies during the colonoscopy and endoscopy. Won't find out those results until next week. He said to eat whatever I wanted to until he received the results back :)

I asked him "so this isn't all in my head then" and he said definately not.

Thanks again for all your support!! I will keep you updated ;)

We knew you'd pull through! :) That's great that your doctor took biopsies and everything. I hope those come back good!
