OK, do we need to return to songs that get stuck in our heads or jingles? We are NOT boring!!! Just burnt out. Perhaps we all need to have a glass of wine at the same time and that will bring back our pfunnies (and yes I know I overdid the wine the night before the funeral).

Anyone here follow Rachel Maddow? Evidently there's someone on the internet who has decided that she is a lesbian vampire (yes she is a lesbian but I don' personally care). So she has two moles on her neck that appear to be where a vampire bites. Now I don't think it's pfunny (other than how ignorant the man on the clip is), but it's not boring. Some of these are repetitive. Ii think that the first two are different. I find the man accusing her of being a vampire to be both pfunny and scary but not boring.

Any signs of an arc being built somewhere.....

So where did Noah keep the woodpeckers on his ark?

So where did Noah keep the woodpeckers on his ark?

Great question!!

I have a beautiful cockatoo. I should have name him "Houdini". We broke a couple of the ceramic bowls, so I bought new ones. Same thing but plastic.

Well, he figured out how to get the plastic bowls out of the place where they go, then how to take off the hook holding the part of the cage closed where the bowl goes, then how to take off the whole section of cage off after the hook was removed, so that he can get out.

I think I finally outsmarted that bird .... I put bottle lids underneath the bowls so he can't lift them up at an angle to get them out.

So I'm wondering, how did he keep any of the birds on the arc at all? They surely only stayed there if they wanted to!!

Well, if the drawing in children's books are any indication, they flew along side the ark. Duh......:lol::lol:

Well, yeah, but where would they fly to?? Even the godwits only fly for 9 days - 40 days is a bit much for any bird methinks :D

Used to have a rabbit that would open his cage door. The cage was on a table, so he had about 3-4 inches of table when he got out. He would then hop on top of the cage and wait for me to get home and feed him.

Several neighbors dogs get out of thier yards and come sit on my front porch.

Just like Carla's bird, they were bored but didn't really want to run away!

I suppose that Noah's birds would have to rest on the ark at some point. I'm assuming he didn't need to take any ducks or pelican or that sort of bird?

Yes, my bird just wants out. He doesn't like being caged up. He's been out all day, so he's happy.

GAAHHH! NO arcs are being constructed here!! DS is struggling with his advanced grade nine mathS, and if I see one more arc, hypotenuse, tri-frickin'-somethin-er-others, tangents and cosigns (wait.. . . . ... . that's my daughter's advanced functions).. . ... . . . ....hell! Get thee to a tutor, she screams!

i just watched the first one. That can't be "real". He was doing it to be funny or get on TV. (I hope  )

People don't really do that, do they? <_<

So where did Noah keep the woodpeckers on his ark?

....Or the termites?

Well, he figured out how to get the plastic bowls out of the place where they go, then how to take off the hook holding the part of the cage closed where the bowl goes, then how to take off the whole section of cage off after the hook was removed, so that he can get out.

Holy crap.. .. . ... . is he doin' the dishes yet? Laundry? Can he endorse yer cheques?

40 days is a bit much for any bird methinks :D

... . . and nights. .. . . . . ...I somehow suspect, from what we've heard so far, that Jyesssss may well be up to it.. . . .

Hmmm, watched the first two. Rachel Maddow is hot. I guess all female vampires are hot. Yummy! But I am not sure I want to live in MexAmeriCanada though. I can't hardly remember the words for one national anthem let alone three!

Now my computer says it is 6:37 pm. Seriously!

I am on my 3rd day of vacation and I have had to work every day of it so far. Called my doc and he said I am probably not diabetic but am low on vit D still. So got to up it some more, 800 units isn't enough it seems.

Hello everyone in the funny room I'm new to this place and need a few laughs so my only friend here (she sobs uncontrollably) GFinDC invited me on over where the crazy people live. I think I'm going to like it here... Talked to my doctor again to day (sheesh I think he's in love with me or something he calls every day) and couldn't help but remember the look on his face when he said my gastric emptying study was normal and I said ok so were the eggs in the terlet in the morning normal too.. WIDE EYED DR... LOL I chuckle everytime I bring that image back. Sooo, hence more testing and now I am here with the crazy people. Last I'll say on the reason for being here!

I have two cats, they let me live here with them and pay the bills for them.. Aren't they just precious to do that for me? :P

Thanks Loey, I've been addicted to humor since I can remember. Like the time my Dad made my Mom so mad that she threw a plate of spaghetti at him and he ducked and it hit her 'brand new' white curtains.. I laughed for days over that one and I was only 7 LOL

    • MK4800 I had it on a trial/rental for a bit trying to purchase one now. Things pretty good, and the cheapest on the market. If you order from the factory it cost $995 ($650+$345 s&H) I started a fund raiser from my bakery for it.   As for retail if you order on Amazon or Ebay your looking to pay $1100-1400 for it.    If your really interested I can give the sales rep your email and she can contact you about getting one. https://www.mkkchina.com/product/ice-cream-making-machine/ My plans when I get my own is to use it for catering, markets, and events. I found it on rental from a company out of Houston and tried it. Then looked into purchasing one.
    • Ennis, Egg yolks are what make custard based ice creams. But you have me thinking. I make a frozen peanut butter pie where I make a Swiss butter cream frosting with added peanut butter. It tastes amazing. For my kids with lactose issues, butter isn't a problem (just fresh milks and cheeses), so I add butter to the whipped cooked egg whites then room temperature natural peanut butter. So I think that heating the honey and whites in a double boiler, then whipping and adding any solid fat would work. Then freeze (no need to churn because the whites and fat provide you with structure).   For Father's Day I made a chocolate brownie (cashew butter base) in a spring form pan, scooped out the center of the brownie leaving just a shell, added the peanut butter filling described above and topped with reserved brownie bits, froze that, then added a chocolate avocado ice cream and topped with chopped homemade dark paleo chocolate chunks...It was terrific! What industrial ice cream maker do you use?  I'm tired of making small batches of ice cream.
    • Hello and welcome to the forum! i don't have a solution for you but I can tell you I had the same thing happen. After going gluten-free I was so extremely sensitive and the issue I had was the dh. I think I've read you can have flare ups even without gluten for quite a while. I certainly did! How long have you been gluten-free? I had flare ups and itching when I would even have foods that were supposedly less than or equal to 20 ppm. This went on for maybe a year? Something extremely ridiculous like that. Then one day my dh turned purpley and flattened out. Then one day it was a bit more skin colored and disappeared. Never had the problem since. good luck with it. I'm sure some others will chime in with their advice and great knowledge as well. You found a great place to be! It's my safe haven.
    • Victoria - Thanks for reply, man last night I was so itchy, and on a spot that hadn't been itchy for months! I'll keep an eye on gluten-free foods too

artistsl - My hand was itchy yesterday and I ended up putting some off-brand neosporin on and it did help, so I'm glad we both had the same idea haha. Also I can't believe I forgot about hand soap! I've checked my shower bar soap (Dove) but for some reason I completely forgot to check the hand soaps here and at work, thanks! Oh and I don't need to see the pictures, I think I'm getting a better handle on what my body is doing now, but thanks! I've also stopped taking ibuprofin at night as a 'test' and I was itchy as hell like directly at midnight, but that might have been a coincidence so I'll keep going without that, and once a week I would put on that steroid cream I got from the dermatologist to help the really bad itching but I'm stopping that too.

Thanks again everyone, man am I glad this forum exists!
